On this post, I show you the pictures of our last visit to Pisa. Both times we have came to Duomo Square, the most turist place in Pisa
We had fun on the grass making funny photos and watching everyone else around, it is one of those things where no one cares what you are doing because they are doing it too!
Pisa is a small city that you can visit in a few hours. The main place to see is Piazza del Duomo
I have seen this T-shirt to different bloggers, I found it fun and I got it too. It is only $9.99 (£6.50) and free shipping , you can order it HERE
Pisa Baptistry of St. John and Cathedral
Piazza dei Miracoli or Duomo Square is an UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is considered of the finest architectural complexes in the world. The beautiful Cathedral which construction begun in 1064 is a characteristic Pisan Romanesque style of architecture.

This is the largest Baptristy in Italy, it was constructed of marble too.
The construction started in 1152 in Romanesque, lower section with rounded arches and it was completed in 1363 in Gothic style, upper sections with pointed arches. Yep, over 200 years construction!
Leaning Tower of Pisa
This is a freestanding bell tower situated behind the Cathedral. The tower's tilt began during construction in the 12th Century, caused by an inadequate foundation on ground too soft on one side to properly support the structure's weight. The tilt increased in the decades before the structure was completed, and gradually increased until the structure was stabilized (and the tilt partially corrected) by efforts in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The architect's name is unknown and probably wanted to keep it in secret due of his mistake ;)
