Lets spirit up! Winter is coming, the days are shorter and the weather start to be colder...Christmas is coming to Town!
Yes, this is the time of the year when we do more shopping but we could also enjoy city breaks at the same time than we shop and taste some wine in the many Christmas Festivals and Markets that we have in many cities in Europe. If you are thinking in spending a weekend away, I can recommend you the last three festivals/ markets that I have visited in the last couple of years, for wine lovers and shopaholics, the atmosphere in these markets is incredible!
German Christmas Markets
Many German cities have fabulous Christmas markets, my cousin lives in Stuttgart and we went in December to see the family and we could see two of the great German markets: Stuttgart and the Medieval Market in Esslingen
Omg! we were all day out seeing the street markets at -7C , I was freezing cold so of course, I had more than a few cups of Glühwein to get warm. The markets have their special printed cups with the name of the city and the year, this is a nice souvenir to take home with us which bring nice memories every time I have a cuppa.
And why not visit Mercedes and Porsche Museums in Stuttgart too? Once we were there we could not leave without seeing them... ;)

Winter Wonderland in LondonIf London is a charming city, can you imagine it at Christmas?
If you are in London in December, you cannot miss coming to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Go ice skating, enjoy the rides and explore the Christmas markets. Feeling cold outside? You also have a Christmassy hot drink in the UK, the famous Mulled wine or the alternative Mulled cider which is delicious too!

Bruges, the Chocolate city at Christmas
Bruges is like a city coming from a fairy-tale story, I have visited Bruges in all the seasons of the year and it is always extremely beautiful... saying that, when is the time of the year when we buy and eat more Chocolate? Christmas time! Then you can imagine how busy can get the Chocolate city at Christmas.

And this is all for now, make sure you plan your pre-Christmas trip today and have an unforgettable time!
